LOVE & keep the Faith!

Trenise, your Humble Takeover is your story. Although one post could not tell your whole story, we are glad to highlight a few of your Great efforts. Tell the family where you started and how you got to where you are today.

I started as an actress in theater. I was persistent and determined even if it meant my tiredness and the rearrangement of my schedule, whatever it took.  At an early age I began doing commercials and print ads with my identical twin sister in New Orleans. I attended TSU in Houston, TX on a full academic scholarship where I graduated,Cum Laude, in 3yrs. I have always danced liturgical dancing and performed in church programs, so I was not shy to the stage or being in front of a crowd. Upon graduating, I began theater performances which amplified my ability to perform even greater in front of crowds. I learned lots of techniques along with the hard work and dedication it required to do theater performances. Many of my theater performances occured at the Ensemble Theater in Houston, TX in a touring play named, "Only God Can Judge Me", Etc. After, I was cast in a starring role on a feature length film, called "Down By the River".

Currently I am a professional working actress on sets with Showtime, CBS and ABC productions. This opportunity led me to becoming a playwright and faith base filmmaker in which I did my first independent feature length film, called "As the Spirit Speaks",which  premiered a sold out weekend at the AMC Theaters.

Also you can catch me in commercials, print ads and TV series: NCIS:New Orleans, Your Honor,  Queen of the South and many more to come!

Which chapter in your story inspired your current venture?

My husband being away for 7 plus years has caused me to be alone and rely on God even more. I was  led by the Holy Spirit to write my first book, "Seasons of Change". My book can be found on Amazon and LuLu.com

What keeps you Humble through your success and failure in Life?

Prayer and my relationship with God!

What advice would you offer our family who is writing their own story?

Keep going. Keep the faith. There is no testimony without life giving you situations that test your strength. We all have our own unique crosses to carry, our own issues and drama; but always know God does not give you more than you can bear.

Do you have any upcoming events or projects you would like to share?

Look for me in Your Honor Part 4, the upcoming New Orleans show Leverage 2.0, the last episode of Queen of the South and on a highway billboard ad for Paragon Casino & Resort. I am also  currently working on my second book and looking to film another short film this summer 2021.

We’d love to hear more stories, please suggest 5 other persons writing their own story and Conquering the World.
