Meet Stylist Brittany Jones | She’s Using Her Gifts to Style The World
What’s a quote that fuels your passion?
"Visualize your highest self and start showing up as her”
Brittany, your Humble Takeover is your story. Although one post could not tell your whole story, we are glad to highlight a few of your Great efforts.Tell the family where you started and how you got to where you are today.
Starting in college, I always worked a retail job because I love fashion. As the years went on, I just knew fashion was THE FIELD for me. I worked in fashion shows (behind the scenes and as a model) and photo shoots until I realized one day, I’m not the girl who likes being in front of a huge crowd and lights (lol). I felt so comfortable with working behind the scenes and fixing models. One day at work, one of my customers came to shop and she jokingly mentioned that she wished she could hire me to choose her outfits every morning. It was almost as if a light bulb turned on and I realized my purpose at that very moment. From there, I created a brand and took business webinars online! It wasn’t easy, but I was so determined to become what God wanted me to be. That was the birth of my styling business.
Which chapter in your story inspired you to venture in styling?
Transparency moment. I am a perfectionist and my worst critic. I have to say that my very beginnings have inspired me to re-brand, which is my current new chapter and venture. I plan on perfecting everything I do with styling so others can work under me to learn the things that no one has taught me and give hope for a brighter future to others.
What keeps you Humble through your success and failure in Life?
God. Need I say more? He has a way of keeping me humble throughout my entire journey.
What advice would you offer our family who is writing their own story?
Stay consistent. It is okay to make mistakes because that is how you learn. Get up every time you fall. And ALWAYS put God first in everything you do.
Do you have any upcoming events or projects you would like to share?
Wellll... I don’t want to spill the beans too much but, with my rebranding I will be giving more back to the community by using my voice and reaching out to our generation. There are many people who have silent battles and cycles that we all can relate to or learn from. Also, I will resume posting content on my new website -coming soon.
We’d love to hear more stories, please suggest 5 other persons writing their own story and Conquering the World.
